Like a whole-wheat baguette, the Balsam is simple, natural and made to travel. Its high-traction rubber outsole (20% recycled) works on street or trail. The dual-density, compression-molded EVA midsole (20% recycled) provides support and cushion; a removable, gender-specific triple-density EVA footbed provides the right cushion for a man's gait. Leather upper and pigskin leather lining are tanned to high ISO 14001 environmental standards.
