To keep the bikes on and have enough clearance for asymmetrical doors and tailgates a gate style carrier should be used.Q: What type of trailer hitch does it use? The team has designed the tongues of our new hitch racks to allow no play, but some hitches out there may have a slightly oversized I.D., causing play in the hitch.
